🌟DUKE – DOG OF THE MONTH FOR NOVEMBER 2025🌟

Five year old DUKE joined us on 26th April 2025 and soon settled in.

He enjoys his daily walks with our volunteers and is slowly getting used to other breeds of dog and is often excited to see them – in a positive way.

DUKE has also enjoyed a day out with our volunteer Nick and visited Windy Bank Woods and Bents garden centre. He described him as ‘walking so well on his lead, even when confronted by an angry terrier!’

Having also spent some time in the enrichment room he’s already had many new experiences and is more than ready for his forever home. With a ‘happy, go lucky’ temperament, we’ve found DUKE absolutely loves playing with toys too!

We feel DUKE could be homed on his own or would be equally happy to live with a female greyhound.
