PETS AT HOME STORES, ‘SANTA PAWS’ APPEAL – 25.11.24 – 24.12.24 – we will be representing the rescue at our partnered Pets at Home stores (Walkden and Horwich) during this appeal. From Thursday to Sunday each week you will find our volunteers in store at various times. Please come along and support us, the rescue will receive half of monies donated in each store during the appeal.

Saturday 11th January 2025 – Nail clipping session at kennels, 11.30 to 12.30. No appointment required but we do ask for a donation for this service. Greyhounds only please.
Saturday 18th January 2025 – ‘Meet a Greyhound’ event at kennels, 10.30 am to 12.30 pm. If you’ve ever wondered what greyhounds are like as pets, have questions about adopting or would just like to meet a greyhound this is for you! By Appointment ONLY. Please e mail admin@makants.uk to register your interest. Adopted Makants hound SKYE and owner Sue look forward to meeting you.
