**UPCOMING EVENTS*

💗AUGUST IS REMEMBRANCE MONTH AT MAKANTS💗

❤On 5th August we will remember our much loved Makants hound PATRICK who passed away on this day in 2021, having been with us in kennels for five years. Patrick was very dear to us and much loved by all our volunteers who remember him fondly.

❤Also, this year we take time to remember sweet boy GARETH who passed away while still in our care, having been diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, on the 23rd April.

❤On 28th August it is also Rainbow Bridge Remembrance day – a day to remember all those pets who we have loved and lost.

During the month of August we plan to remember the hounds we have lost – and other pets no longer with us – and would like to invite you to get involved.

📍Would you sponsor a hanging ‘winged greyhound heart’ (as shown) which will be displayed in the garden for the month of August? If you let us know if it is for Patrick or Gareth- or another much loved and missed pet – we can share your details on our social media channels. We will also share photos as the memorial hearts are added to the tree in Patrick’s Patch. (Please note we only have a limited number of hearts and unfortunately cannot offer any colour preference).

📍In order to take part in our Remembrance month we’d ask you to make a donation to the rescue (suggested amount £10) via our Paypal, the link can be found on our website – www.makants.uk – or via this link :https://makants.uk/will-you-help-us/

*If you’d prefer to pay a different way please send us an e mail to admin@makants.uk for our bank details.*

Thanks so much for your continued support, let’s fill Patrick’s tree with hearts this Remembrance month. 💗
