*VOLUNTEERS FROM MILLIKEN FLOORING*
Recently we were pleased to welcome two groups of volunteers from local company Milliken Floors.
Organised by Milliken staff member – and our walking volunteer – Kay, as part of Milliken’s Community Week where staff volunteer their time for various local charities.
Two staff groups came over two days and soon got stuck into doing jobs that were needed – including painting the portakabins,- which I think you’ll agree is not an easy job! They were also able to spend some time with the hounds, and Woofy is shown enjoying the attention in the home from home room.
Our thanks go out to the volunteers from Milliken and to the company itself for their commitment to the Community and to our rescue, which is very much appreciated.
