*UPDATE ON PATRICK*

Siobhan has asked me to let you know the latest on Patrick. She took him to the vets this morning and unfortunately the operation has not gone ahead as planned.

It seems the tumour has grown, and in order to be able to remove it, Patrick would have needed to have his chest wall removed. Also the tumour is aggressive and would regrow in a matter of weeks. Siobhan made the difficult decision not to put Patrick through this and to allow him to enjoy his remaining time at kennels with all the people he knows, and to be surrounded by love.

We’d like to thank you all for your generous donations, we will use as much of your donated money as we can on Patrick’s palliative care. However, as donations were made specifically for Patrick we should mention that if anyone would like a refund please do get in touch via e mail to admin@makants.uk and this will be arranged. In the meantime we have another hound in kennels who is needing an operation soon and would like to transfer the funds raised for his treatment.

Thank you all for your support, we know Patrick is a much loved hound. We will ensure he is pain free and wants for nothing in the coming days.
