Remembering Joe Bradford

Joe volunteered for the rescue for several years in his official capacity as Walks Coordinator and also walked the greyhounds five days a week in all weathers. The love Joe had for the greyhounds was immense, the hounds here at Makants were so lucky to have him on their side. We were so lucky too to have had his unfailing support and friendship over the years and have many happy memories of times spent in Joe’s company.

Joe is still talked about often at the rescue. We remember his sense of humour and his stories and he is always remembered with love. Recently Joe’s beautiful Makants hound Saffron journeyed over the Rainbow Bridge to be with him.

Joe’s widow Pam is often in our thoughts and we send her all our love today.
