**NATIONAL VOLUNTEERS’ WEEK**
Today sees the end of National Volunteers’ week. (1-7 June)
At Makants, our volunteers are the life blood of the rescue, we simply couldn’t exist without them. Our volunteers help in so many ways from walking the dogs to fundraising, admin work, crafting and so much more. We are so lucky to have such committed and hard working volunteers – many who have been with us since the early days of the rescue – who all care so passionately about the hounds in our kennels.
Last week we held a Volunteers’ thank you lunch as a way of showing our appreciation and asked three of our longest serving volunteers to cut the cake.
Today, the last day of Volunteers’ week, we send out a great BIG THANK YOU to everyone who volunteers for us.
