NATIONAL VOLUNTEERS’ WEEK 1-7 JUNE 2020

On our social media this week we have been highlighting just some of the many volunteers we have at the rescue, and the type of volunteering they undertake. Whilst kennels remain closed at the moment we hope more of you will be able to join our team in the future.

As the week comes to a close we have a message from Siobhan to share with you:

‘I just want to take this opportunity to thank each and every one who volunteers for Makants. The rescue simply wouldn’t exist without your vital help, and thanks to you all we have now managed to home over 400 hounds.

It has been a very strange time recently in lockdown being very quiet on the farm, I just hope you can bear with us and remain patient for the time being. As soon as we are able to reopen we will let you know on all our social media channels.
