NATIONAL ADOPT A GREYHOUND MONTH

Lisa lives with adopted Makants hound Saffie. We asked her a couple of questions about Saffie and greyhounds in particular:

Why should anyone adopt a greyhound?

Greyhounds are simply the best in so many ways. They’re uncomplicated with simple needs, loving and gentle and very lazy! I’ve found that once you allow a greyhound into your world that’s it, you’re hooked. They have the most soulful eyes you can forgive them anything!

What makes greyhounds special?

What makes them special is they each have their funny quirks and their own personality and they are such fun. Saffie gets on with any breed of dog and she’s so laid back. I’m very lucky to call her mine.
