NATIONAL ADOPT A GREYHOUND MONTH
Heather lives with adopted Makants hound Rosie Mae who she adopted in November 2020.
We asked her a couple of questions about Rosie Mae and greyhounds in particular:
Why should anyone adopt a greyhound?
I would say that greyhounds make the most wonderful addition to any family. They are such beautiful, loving souls and and give the best cuddles. The only ‘downside’ is that one is never enough!
What makes greyhounds special?
I think it’s a combination of their gentle nature, their ability to take over your heart, how they make you laugh with their ‘roaching’ and various silly expressions. Also of course they all possess a wardrobe full of coats for every occasion – and own many more than any human ever could!
