**KENNELS UPDATE** 30.12.20

*KENNELS MUST REMAIN CLOSED TO ALL VOLUNTEERS AND VISITORS AT THIS TIME*

During the countrywide ‘lockdown’ we kept the number of hounds to a minimum and continued to do so during the second ‘lockdown’ and currently whilst we are in Tier 4. As the number of dogs needs to be kept to a small and manageable number the bottom kennels will also remain closed for the foreseeable future.

Atherton vets have kindly been able to continue to neuter/spay our hounds, although on a much reduced basis. We are very grateful for their support in order that we are able to continue the rehoming process.

Recently we have found ourselves in an unprecedented situation with few dogs available for homing. Home checks will now be suspended until we have further guidance as we continue working to the DEFRA and ADCH guidelines.

We will still welcome applications from those applicants who have been previously home checked and/ or have had one of our own dogs and those with experience that live in the local area. All other homing enquiries will be put on hold.

KENNELS MUST REMAIN CLOSED to all visitors and volunteers at this time, our kennels shop will be open but on a click and collect basis. Items can also be posted if preferred, please get in touch and we will try our best to help.

If you wish to donate any of the following items – CD’s, DVD’s, jigsaws and any new items, especially those that can be posted out – they can be left in a blue donation bin which will be placed near the entrance gate, clearly marked ‘donations’.

We CANNOT take any other type of donated item.
