*RONNIE*
Earlier this week we were saddened to hear that adopted Makants hound RONNIE, adopted in the Autumn of 2016, had passed away.
Many of us at the rescue remember RONNIE from his time in kennels as a perfect gentleman, and a hound with the most dazzling smile too. Ronnie was lucky to be adopted by Sean and Bridie Ann.
Sean tells us that ‘having a greyhound was such a wonderful experience. Ronnie was a kind and gentle soul that loved the kids and was most content laying on the sofa or across us as he forgot he was a massive boy.
I would recommend these wonderful dogs to anyone who has the time and love to welcome them into their lives.
At least the squirrels in our local park can sleep easier tonight.’😘
