*GREAT GLOBAL GREYHOUND WALK*

We had a great turn out for the Great Global Greyhound Walk this morning. The weather stayed fine and a grand total of 136 greyhounds plus their owners enjoyed a walk through Windy Bank Woods. Some of our kennel dogs were able to join the walk, thanks to those volunteers who transported them along and made it possible. The 7 dogs remaining at kennels had their own registered walk too.

Our thanks to Martin Draper for leading the walk and to Dave Balmer for organising the event (not an easy task) and photos. Thanks to Wendy and Fiona for running the merchandise stall. Members of the Phoenix Greyhound Group joined us for the walk and we also thank them for their kind donation. Thanks also to Bents for allowing us to use their car park.
