GARETH – IN MEMORIAM💗
We have some heartbreaking news to share with you all today about kennel hound GARETH.
Earlier last week a suspicious lump was noticed on his leg and sadly an Xray confirmed this was osteosarcoma (bone cancer). After careful discussion with our vet he was peacefully put to sleep on Friday morning.
Gareth was with us for just over a year and was 5 1/2 years old. He was a gentle, sensitive soul who will be fondly remembered by both our kennel staff and volunteers alike.
During his time with us he enjoyed many days out to the local countryside and also spent time at volunteers’ homes. Although he didn’t find his forever home he was greatly loved by all who came into contact with him, and will be very much missed.
Rest easy lovely lad.💗
