BILLY – IN MEMORIAM

Today we have very sad news to share of the loss of adopted Makants hound BILLY. Billy was fostered and then subsequently adopted in January 2017 by Kay and Roy, great friends of the rescue and regular visitors too.

In fact Kay and Roy brought Billy to see us only a few weeks ago so he could catch up with his greyhound mates.

Billy was a lovely boy and, while with us, a fantastic fundraiser too! We have fond memories of him in action at the Hillcrest dog show held in Astley Park in Chorley prior to his adoption. He stole many hearts that day and the First Aider at the show was smitten with him wanting to take him home. That honour, though, went to Kay and Roy who made sure he wanted for nothing, we send them our love on this very sad day.
