Two of our hounds – Jack and Hugo – were lucky to spend time out of kennels this weekend with our experienced volunteers.
Yesterday JACK went to Rivington with Liv, Sophie and Debra and had a walk around the reservoir and the forest. We’re told he was an ‘absolute star’! He also went to the pub for where he had some sausages. Quite a few people commented on how good he was and gave him some fuss. Well done Jack!
Today HUGO also went to Rivington with Jutta, Hannah and Mark and we’re told he was really well behaved – apart of licking the cream off Jutta’s hot chocolate! He certainly loved the sausages they took for him and the fuss he got from everyone he met. He was the perfect walking companion.
Well done Hugo!
We send our thanks to both groups of volunteers for giving their time this Bank Holiday weekend to allow the hounds to have new experiences.
Details on both Jack and Hugo can be found on our website – www.makants.uk – along with our homing requirements.
(Red muzzle is Jack, Blue is Hugo)
