A message from Siobhan….
Well what a year we’ve had!
Writing a similar post this time last year I could not have imagined in my wildest dreams what was about to happen. But against the odds we have survived this year and this really wouldn’t have been possible without the help, love and support from so many of you.
As 2020 draws to a close I would like to take the opportunity to send out my thanks. First of all I send ‘thanks’ to you, all our wonderful supporters, who through your generosity and love, have kept us afloat and kept us going this year.
I would also like to send thanks to our dedicated long term volunteers who have been amazing helping me to keep the kennels running, and to ensure the dogs are walked daily.
Thanks must go to the home check team for carrying on the best they can. They rose to the challenge and I think being able to place 80 dogs in their forever homes this year is quite an achievement! Also thanks to those who fostered our hounds during the initial lockdown and those who have been able to take hounds for overnight stays for us, helping us with an assessment of each individual hound.
Thanks to our admin team for their continuing support and to all our fundraising team who have been fantastic in such a difficult time. They certainly managed to come up with so many inventive and fun ways to raise funds
I thank you all from the bottom of my heart and sincerely hope that 2021 will be kinder to us all.
