A BUSY SATURDAY MORNING AT KENNELS
We held a nail clipping session at kennels this morning which was well attended with 16 greyhounds coming along, including two who made the trip from Blackpool. It’s always nice to see adopted Makants hounds and new faces too. Andrea and Mark, recent adopters of Lizzie now Lyra, were happy to receive hands on advice on nail care from Siobhan.
Also several winners from our recent online Name the Dog card competition came to collect their chocolate prizes. Don’t worry though there is another chance to win a bumper amount of Easter eggs over on our Auction page this coming Thursday 10th April and on the 17th April too!
Work was progressing on our Sensory Garden too which is really taking shape now. More details on the progress, and how you can sponsor a raised bed in the garden, will be shared next week.
