*10th BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION WALK*
Well it was certainly a soggy one, but we still had a brilliant 10th birthday celebration walk today at the Lancashire Mining Museum.
After a swift walk in the mud – which saw at least one supporter lose a shoe, and at least one hound had to be carried – everyone was able to take shelter and celebrate with cake and prosecco.
Thanks to Martin and Wendy for leading the walks, to James and Sharon our photographers and to all the hardy supporters who brought their hounds along. We also had a group of kennel hounds join us, thanks to our volunteers for bringing them along.
Big thank you Rose and all at the Lancashire Mining Museum at Astley Green for allowing us to hold the walk there and for the use of their gazebo, which was much needed today! We also got to meet several Christmas characters as they hold their Santa event.
Tomorrow, 11th December, is the BIG DAY itself, be sure to check your feeds as the celebrations have only just started!
