🌟NATIONAL BLACK DOG DAY🌟
Today, 1st October, is recognised as National Black Dog Day. It’s a day to ensure that the public is widely educated about the low adoption rates and negative portrayal of black dogs, as well as to bring about change in the public’s view of black dogs.
At Makants we have several black greyhounds waiting for homes – Poppy, Alice, Trigger, Duke Gareth, Dolly (shown here) Express, Reg and Storm – all gorgeous in their own right. 😍
There are so many advantages to owning a black dog, they don’t show the dirt, they look fabulous wearing brightly coloured collars – and you can always find them in the snow!
