🌟MAKANTS VOLUNTEERS REALLY ARE THE BEST!🌟
Recently two established Makants volunteers have given even more of their time to us through spending their ‘Volunteer days’ at the rescue.
Kay Love – and colleague Natalie – from @millikenflooring gave a day volunteering walking the dogs at kennels. Colleagues at Milliken have volunteered as a group with us over the past few years undertaking several maintenance projects and we’re very grateful for their continued support.
Tom Ottens, who adopted his own greyhound Jim Bob 7 years ago, gave three days’ volunteering which involved cleaning the kennels, walking the dogs and undertaking general maintenance work. Tom said it was ‘great to have the opportunity to give back to the community’ . Having volunteered with us since Spring 2023 he appreciated being able to see behind the scenes and was impressed by the volunteers dedication.
Thanks to these volunteers for going the extra mile for Makants.
