We start the week the very best way with homing news – and this time it’s MILLIE!
Our much loved long stay ‘goofball’ Millie has found her forever home with Makants volunteer Sharon and her Dad Ken in the Biddulph area. Millie also lives with hounds Roxy, Cole and Marley.
Sharon says: after some gentle introduction we decided to give her a try at home for the day. A day turned into a sleepover and the rest is history, she surpassed all my expectations and has just been fantastic.
Millie has taken everything in her stride and overcome all the new things life in a home can bring. She got a new bed this week, absolutely loves it and doesn’t want to get out of it! She has enjoyed walking in the Peak District and we are working on building up her stamina for longer walks. Her cheeky side is starting to come out and she gathers items from the house and takes them to her bed. Most importantly she is a happy lazy girl who loves her bed and food.’
It goes to show that good things DO come to those who wait. ❤
