We start the week the very best way, with news of a homing, and this time it’s LEGEND!
LEGEND, now known as PEP, is living in the Heald Green area with Julie and Matt. They tell us:’ He has settled in really well, he’s a big softie and loves cuddles. He has been on walks in the woods, along the river and is enjoying these new experiences. His playful and cheeky side are starting to show and often slippers can be found in his bed! We have a 6 year old grandson, and he and Pep are getting along fantastically well.’
Julie adds’ I chose a greyhound because they are loving, calm, fun and for a large breed don’t need endless amounts of exercise.’
…….. and to think this story only started last December when Julie was a stallholder at a Worker Bee market in Cheadle, where we also had a stall. She met our volunteers and, after chatting to them and admiring adopted Makants hound Minnie, put in an application for volunteering. On Xmas Eve a homing application was received and the rest is history! It was just meant to ‘bee’. (bee, get it?)😂
