Express is our dog of the month for September.
When this lad arrived with us he was a little wary and took some time to get to know our volunteers and routine, but with encouragement soon started to relax. His confidence has continued to increase since then with each passing day.
At the beginning Express was reactive towards other breeds of dog that he met on his daily walks. Through daily exposure – and guidance from our walking volunteers – his behaviour has now improved and he can walk past any breed of dog calmly.
Express has spent some time in our enrichment room with our volunteers and recently had a day out to Worsley Woods. He particularly loves zooming around our sand paddock and mooching around the sensory garden. He did see a friend in the garden on his recent visit and wonders if he will see him again?😂
