❤VALENTINE’S SOCIAL DOG WALK❤
Thanks to everyone who ventured out in the fog this morning to come to our Valentine’s themed social dog walk at Sale Water park.
Despite it being rather murky out there we counted 68 hounds/companion dogs along with humans who came along! It was our first time allowing companion dogs on our walks and we’re pleased to say it worked out well.
Thanks to all our volunteers who put a lot of hard work into planning and running these events and to everyone who came along to support the event, raising funds for our rescue. We hear there are a lot of tired dogs out there this afternoon.😂
We had two kennel hounds on the walk – blue boy ED and black lad BONO – who both were well behaved, enjoyed meeting other hounds and, we hear, may have stolen the hearts of some of the people attending. 🤞
❤Ruby, owned by Christine Cumpsty was the winner of the best dressed Valentine hound. ❤
**Our next walk takes place on Sunday 3rd March at Windy Bank Woods, supporting our volunteer Darryl and raising funds for the Alzheimer’s Society this time. **
