❤REMEMBERING PATRICK❤
Today, 5th August, we take some time to remember much loved greyhound PATRICK who was part of our rescue for five years from 2015 – 2021.
Although Patrick, (our own ‘Braveheart’) didn’t find his forever home while with us- and with his life sadly being cut short by ill health – he certainly was much loved by all our volunteers with Makants being his ‘home’.
With cooked sausages – among other treats – being brought in each day by his favourite volunteers he was surrounded by so much love during his time with us.
Lovely Patrick, never forgotten.❤
📍We are remembering Patrick and other pets no longer with us this August Remembrance month with some memorial hearts on the tree in Patrick’s Patch in our sensory garden. The hearts symbolise our love for Patrick and those much loved hounds no longer with us, while also raising funds for our hounds still looking for homes.
