❤FRIDAY FACES❤

In a change to our usual Friday feature, this Friday we have something of a Makants love story to share with you…….

It seems that Makants hound HILARY (now known as EVIE) (black hound) has now bagged herself a home and a ‘beau’ in the form of adopted Makants hound ROBBIE.

The story started back in September at the Great Global Greyhound walk when EVIE spotted handsome ROBBIE and immediately made a bee line for him, spending the entire walk ‘velcroed’ by his side. It happened again on the following social walk and, as they got on so well, it was arranged for the two hounds to enjoy some time together at Christmas too!

Needless to say it went well and EVIE was officially adopted at the weekend. The lovebirds are living with Makants volunteer Kevin in the Haydock area and he tells us that ‘EVIE made her presence known on the first day in the house, charging up the stairs for a good nosey around, taking over ROBBIE’s bed, and rounding up the recycling, whilst flinging a tea towel around the house’!

Talk about making an entrance.😂😂

We look forward to hearing more stories about these two, and we send our love and congratulations to Robbie, Evie and Kevin.
