🌟VOLUNTEER DAY🌟
Shelley, who is already a valued member of our volunteer team was asked where she would like to spend her two allotted ‘Volunteer Days’ from work…..
yes you guessed it! Shelly spent two days last week helping out at kennels.
She helped sort items for our fundraising teams and was involved in walking and feeding the greyhounds too. It wasn’t all glamour though as kennel cleaning was also included in her volunteer duties!
Shelley especially enjoyed spending time in our enrichment (home from home) room
taking time to give all the dogs plenty of fuss and attention as they get used to a home environment.
Of the experience Shelley said: ‘It’s been a truly rewarding and enjoyable few days. I’m truly amazed at the work of this fabulous charity and their volunteers. Makants certainly do make a difference to a dog’s life and they’ve certainly made an impact on mine’.
