A year in the making ……
We’ve homing news to share this Monday morning – and this time it’s DIANA!
Her adoption story starts back in February 2024, when adopters Wayne, Sharon and Siobhan first met some of our adopted greyhounds at an event in the Tesco, Leigh store. Fast forward to November and the whole family came along to one of our ‘Meet a Greyhound’ events at kennels which lead to them falling in love with DIANA. Several walks, overnight stays and a home trial followed, and the rest is, as they say, history!
DIANA, now known as DAPHNE is now living with them in the Leigh area. She is their first greyhound and first family dog too. The family tell us that DAPHNE has taken over the couch (no surprise there), and loves to sleep and lounge on there, in some very strange positions (again, no surprise). She also loves to run a few laps of the garden – which is starting to resemble a ploughed field in places!
