The best way to start a week – especially Christmas week – is with news of a homing, and this time it’s ARTY!
Lovely ARTY, with his unusual ‘fold over’ ears, joined us back in the Summer. He has been the perfect house guest residing in our 10th birthday kennel, enjoying time spent with our volunteers, his walks and visits to coffee shops.
ARTY is now living with John and Denise in the Didsbury, Manchester area. He is their third Makants greyhound to join their family after losing much loved hounds Dino and Dancer.
They tell us ARTY ‘has a large collection of toys, which have now had their squeaks well and truly silenced! He loves his morning walks on the river and having various Didsbury parks to explore. Abney Hall seems to be a favourite of his already as there are plenty of squirrels in there!’
We send our love and congratulations to John, Denise and ARTY and hope they have a lovely Christmas together.🎄
