Our Friday Feature this week is PAUL, one of three young brothers we have in kennels.
PAUL enjoyed a trip out last week with our experienced volunteer Chris.
Chris tells us ‘PAUL was a little unsure initially about getting into the car at first – but that’s to be expected – and once he was helped in he was quite happy. We headed to Astley Park in Chorley where he enjoyed meeting other dogs and their owners and was especially happy to meet children too. 😁
We did spend a little time in the cafe there too and PAUL was again very well behaved and gained lots of admiring glances and comments. We then went to my house where PAUL performed a complete ‘house inspection’, (the stairs weren’t a problem to him at all) before settling down for a rest. We watched TV together (Bargain Hunt seemed to grab his attention 😂) before returning to kennels.
PAUL proved to be a super friendly lad with everyone he met and was very affectionate. He walks superbly on the lead after an initial flurry of excitement – which is normal for such a young dog.
It really was a great day out for us both!’
