STORM (Female)
4 year old STORM arrived with us on the 8th November 2023.
On arrival STORM was very timid as everything was new to her. As she has settled in, and after being given some time, she has improved and is now making great progress gaining confidence day by day. This is in part thanks to the support of our volunteers and the new experiences they are able to offer her. However, STORM still remains anxious at times and is sensitive to loud noises.
STORM enjoys daily trips out in a volunteers’ car to a nearby area where she enjoys her walks and has had many new experiences – which she has coped well with. She particularly enjoys spending time in water if she can, and also loves a good run around our sand paddock.
Siobhan describes Storm as a ‘lovely, gentle soul’. She is happy and relaxed in her kennel and with volunteers she knows and trusts.
We are looking for a quiet home for Storm and feel she would do well living with a confident dog. Anyone interested in adopting Storm would need to spend considerable time at kennels getting to know her as part of the pre adoption process.
