❄❄SNOWY DAYS❄❄

It’s hard to believe but back in July we shared with you the preparations we made for the greyhounds in very hot weather!

So now in December at the other extreme we thought we’d show how we deal with cold weather at kennels.

All our kennel blocks have lowered ceilings and are insulated, our hounds wear fleece jackets when in kennels and have extra blankets on their beds. We’ve also installed oil heaters in all blocks and have blankets over our windows to keep the heat in. Of course our hounds also always wear thick jackets when out on their daily walks.

They’re coping well and have especially enjoyed their walks in the snow – but of course we are all looking forward to when higher temperatures return!
