Saturday 17th January 2026 – We’re pleased to be returning to the Pets at Home store in Walkden from 11 am to 1 pm. We’ll have some items for sale and greyhounds for you to meet too. Come along and find out more about greyhounds as pets.

Saturday 7th February 2026 – We are pleased to have the opportunity to fundraise and raise awareness at a new venue in the New Year. We will be in the foyer at the ASDA Superstore, Sheephill Lane, Clayton Le Woods, PR6 7JY from  10 am to 4 pm. We will have greyhounds for you to meet and crafts and dog related items for sale. If you’d like to know more about greyhounds as pets why not come along and find out more?

NAIL CLIPPING
Our next clipping session at kennels is taking place on Saturday 7th February 2026, 11.30 to 12.30 pm. Greyhounds only please. *We would respectfully ask that anyone attends during this hour ONLY.*
No appointment is required but please be advised that you may have a lengthy wait to be seen, we also do ask for a donation to the rescue for this service.
Our kennels shop will be open for sales of treats, collars, leads, coats etc. We are also stockists of Ostrich bones, priced at £16.
You are responsible for yourself and your dog (s). You MUST muzzle your dog if there is the possibility they may be reactive towards other dogs.

Saturday 14th February 2026 – We are pleased to be returning to the Tesco Haydock store in the New Year from 10 am to 4 pm. We’ll have some greyhounds for you to meet and it’s an ideal opportunity to come along and find out what wonderful pets they make. Please do stop for a chat if you’re out shopping.

Sunday 15th February 2026 – Valentine’s Sighthound social dog walk

Bramhall Park, Bramhall Park Road, SK7 3NX

Meet in main car park from 9.30 am, walk starts at 10.00 am

Two routes available of 1 hour or 35 minutes

*Pay and display car park *Cafe *Toilets

*Valentine’s theme fancy dress (only if your hound is happy to do so) with a prize for the best dressed hound.

*Merchandise stall selling dog coats and natural treats *Raffle with lovely prizes

*Suggested donation of £2 per hound

*This is a sighthound only walk but companion dogs of other breeds, who live with a sighthound, are welcome too.

Sunday 1st March 2026 – We are pleased to be returning to Avant Garden centre, Wigan Road, Leyland once again. We’ll have dog related merchandise and hand made crafts for sale – and some lovely greyhounds for you to meet too!. If you’ve ever wondered about adopting a greyhound why not come along and find out more about this wonderful breed.

Sunday 8th March 2026, Sighthound social dog walk at Pennington Flash.  The details are:
Meet in main car park, WN7 3PA
Car park is £2.50 pay and display
Meet at 9.45 am with walk to set off at 10.00 am.
Two walk options
Suggested donation of £2 per hound
