A SPECIAL THANK YOU
This week we were honoured to receive a substantial donation in memory of a very special lady.
Mrs. Davidson (Gwyneth) was a much loved member of staff at Garrett Hall School in Tyldesley who sadly passed away last year. During the Summer last year staff and pupils took part in sponsored fundraising activities – including a crazy hair day – with donations coming to the rescue. We send our thanks to all who took part and all who donated, your kindness is much appreciated.
Gwyneth’s husband Jack, along with Gwyneth’s sister, visited kennels in May last year and spent time with us and the greyhounds. They told us more about her and of her love of animals, including dogs. We are so honoured to have received a donation from her friends and family at that time and now to also receive one from her school community too. Gwyneth was certainly a very special lady and is very much missed.
