HOMING NEWS

We start the week the very best way – with homing news – and this time it’s RALPH!

The eagle eyed of you will notice that RALPH (now ROSCOE) is a little smaller than the greyhounds you are used to seeing!

Sweet  ROSCOE was found straying at the beginning of February. Being unclaimed he was cared for at kennels and after receiving lots of TLC from our kennels staff and volunteers he absolutely blossomed into the lovely boy you see in these photos.

ROSCOE was adopted by long term Makants Volunteers Julie and Mark and will live in the Tyldesley area. Julie and Mark are enjoying having a dog at home and having a reason once again to get out and about dog walking.  We’re told he is ‘good fun’ and being such a handsome boy certainly attracts attention on his walks.

The name? well, there is a story there. He is named after Law Officer Roscoe P Coltrane from the Dukes of Hazzard American TV programme from the eighties (younger Makants supporters will have to Google this!)  We thank AI for that photo!
