🌟TRIGGER DOG OF THE MONTH FOR JULY🌟
Our lovely ‘BFG’ Trigger has been our dog of the month for July and sadly is still looking for his forever home.❤
Three year old TRIGGER joined us on the 26th May 2025 and soon showed us what a friendly and very affectionate dog he is. He just loves human company, is easy to walk and is happy to meet other breeds of dog when he’s out and about.
This lucky boy enjoyed a day trip to Rivington this week too! Volunteer Lisa took him and told us ‘ Trigger
loved it, new sights and smells, he was so good and he met so many different breeds and was great with every single one, not reactive in any way.
He was great in the tea rooms when I went in to order and was admired by the staff, we sat outside and he had a sausage and my toast crusts. He really was was the star attraction with so many people stopping to say ‘Hi’ and ask about him, I honestly think he’s the best advertising tool for Makants! Being a larger greyhound tends to make people stop and talk and find out more and he was more than happy to receive the attention from passers by. He was a pleasure to take out for a lovely day.’ 😍
As well as his daily walks he has enjoyed new experiences such as spending time in our enrichment (home from home) room and has been ‘helping’ in our sensory garden too.
This big lad would be happy to be the only hound in a home or equally could live with another large breed female.
