Thank You
Today we send our love and grateful thanks to two families who have recently made large donations to our rescue in memory of their loved ones.
Recently we lost two very dear friends of the rescue – Phil Beattie and Joe Bradford. They were valued and very much loved volunteers at our rescue and often went out of their way to offer support in whichever way they could. Phil, who adopted Bruno, would always generously outbid everyone on our auctions and Joe would turn up to walk the hounds every day without fail, bringing with him a sandwich for Siobhan and tinned sardines for the hounds.
The love these two gentlemen had for the greyhounds was outstanding, the hounds were so lucky to have them on their side. We were so lucky too to have had their unfailing support over the years, and have many happy memories of times spent in their company.
We send our thanks to everyone who made a donation and to Phil and Joe’s families we also send a sincere thank you.
There are plans to honour their memory at the rescue, we will release these details soon.
