**KENNELS UPDATE**

With regard to the new lockdown being introduced from the 5th January we must remind you of the following:

*KENNELS MUST CONTINUE TO REMAIN CLOSED TO ALL VOLUNTEERS AND VISITORS*

Regarding dogs in kennels: the number of dogs will continue to be kept to a small and manageable number. The bottom kennels will also remain closed for the foreseeable future.

Homing: we can only action applications if applicants fall into these categories: either those who have been previously home checked and/ or have had one of our own dogs or those with previous sighthound experience. All other homing enquiries will be put on hold and will not be processed until Government restrictions are lifted.

Atherton vets will continue to neuter/spay our hounds, although on a much reduced basis. We are very grateful for their continued support.

Our kennels shop will CLOSE. We are looking into arrangements provide on line sales and will advise when we are able to do this.

If you wish to donate any of the following items – CD’s, DVD’s, jigsaws and any new items, especially those that can be posted out – they can be left in a blue donation bin which will be placed near the entrance gate, clearly marked ‘donations’. Please only do this if you are passing kennels, do not make a special journey to donate.

We CANNOT take any other type of donated item.
