Foster hound TOM is looking for his forever home

Please share this post, help TOM find his forever home

High energy hound TOM arrived with us back in kennels in November last year, and subsequently went into a foster home with Ann in February this year.

Ann, a very experienced foster carer says Tom has to be one of the ‘ most energetic hounds’ she has ever come across! He certainly doesn’t live up to the long held belief that all greyhounds are ‘couch potatoes’ as Tom absolutely loves to be out and about. He has a two mile walk every morning and a shorter one in the evening and even then he would happily go out again! Tom behaves well on walks too when meeting other breeds of dog.

This lad is also an intelligent boy (we can’t honestly say that for every greyhound we know!) and when in kennels became known as an escape artist, opening his own kennel and going around calling for his mates too! Great care would need to be taken by any prospective adopter to ensure that Tom is kept safe.

Tom is great with his food and enjoys it almost as much as his walks. He’s an affectionate lad who, during his downtime, loves to be cuddled and kissed but who also likes to be kept occupied. He loves his toys and loves to play games in the house too.

Tom is looking for someone who shares his love of walking and who can also provide a safe environment for him.
