**Kennels update – refurbishment**

We’ve some news to share of the refurbishment of the ‘overflow’ kennel block.

You may remember that last year we lost two very special volunteers – Joe Bradford and Phil Beattie. Follwing their funerals we were honoured to receive two sizeable donations in their memory. We decided the money would help to refurbish the overflow block – if ever it was empty and we had time. Well we never anticipated a lock down but it has provided the ideal opportunity for work to commence!

The ‘overflow’ block already has a new UPVC door and work is starting inside insulating each kennel with another window being added along with insulation on the walls and ceiling. Many thanks to Geoff for his hard work, here is a photo of the work in progress:
