FOSTER HOUND DYLAN NEEDS HIS FOREVER HOME

Stunning sandy boy DYLAN arrived with us at the very end of last year. Recently, he has been lucky to enjoy several weeks of lockdown time and country walks with foster carer Vanessa.

Vanessa says ‘Dylan is a stunning dog and has a very sweet personality to match. He loves his walks and walks well on the lead and does not react when he meets other breeds of dog. He has loved country walks taking in all the sights and sounds and has been happy equally with long or short walks.’

As would be expected Dylan did take a couple of weeks to settle into a home situation. However he soon relaxed and soon his playful personality started to show, it appears he absolutely loves tennis balls and a game of football too.

On the rare trips out in the car Dylan was nervous about jumping in so had to be lifted in and out. We feel this is something that may improve with more time and practice.

Dylan can be nervous in certain situations he is unsure of and is frightened of loud noises, especially when fireworks were let off locally. As with the majority of greyhounds Dylan also loves to sleep. However, unusually his favourite place is on the floor so any sofa space in his new home appears to be safe!

We think Dylan would be suited to a home where there are older children due to his size.
