DOG OF THE MONTH FOR DECEMBER – HILLY

Hilly arrived with us in April 2019, settled in well and is slowly learning about the big wide world. He loves to watch the world go by and take everything in. He is a friendly young dog with lovely endearing puppy dog eyes. He put them to good use when he modelled our new dog coats and we think he secretly also loved all the attention!

Hilly has enjoyed days out and sleepovers with our volunteers and loved jumping into their cars going on his adventures. Hilly likes his daily walks but still struggles with meeting other breeds of dog – something our walking volunteers are continuing to work on. We feel Hilly will need to be an only dog in the household and homed with someone who has hound experience who is willing to continue to work with him on his reaction when he meets other dogs.

Hilly isn’t cat friendly. He is an affectionate small boy who really loves a cuddle.
