Kennels Shop

Our kennels shop is open EVERY Saturday morning from 10 am to 12.30 pm and also on Thursdays from 10 am to 3 pm. The kennels is based at Makants Farm, Mort Lane, Tyldesley, M29 8PF and there is parking on site. We can take cash or card.

We have coats for all breeds of dog, bring along your hound to ‘try before you buy’. Also on sale we have many handmade craft items for human and hound made by our talented Crafters Group.

OAK ASHES CASKETS

Makants supporter Keith Mather has very kindly offered to make a limited number of  hand crafted oak ashes caskets. The cost of a casket, plaque and postage is £55, all of which would be donated to our rescue. Obviously we hope no-one needs them but we are grateful to Keith for offering to make them for us. Makants Kennel Sponsorship

You can sponsor a kennel for 3 months (£15), 6 months (£30) or 12 months (£60)or as a “continuous” sponsorship (£5 per month with a certificate sent at beginning of sponsorship).

We have kennel numbers 1 to 10 to choose from with details of who is occupying your sponsored kennel (please note however that this will change as the dogs are homed). Your sponsorship money will ensure support for veterinary care, food, bedding, rehabilitation, enrichment care and grooming for our kennel guests.

You will receive a certificate showing details of your sponsorship which can be personalised for someone special or as a gift to celebrate a special occasion. Kennel sponsorships can also be a memorial for a loved one or pet.

Payments can be made via our PayPal account: donation@makants.uk. Please indicate in the instructions section which kennel you would like to sponsor, whose name you would like on the certificate and whether it is for a special occasion or memorial. If you need your certificate for a certain date we ask that you give us sufficient notice of at least two weeks. We also need to know your postal address.
